In FIREkit, the limits on the number of assets you can manage are straightforward: each type of holding in your portfolio counts towards your limit in a specific way:
Custom Holdings: Each custom holding is treated as one unit, regardless of what it contains.
Holdings with Multiple Items: For holdings that include multiple items, such as a stock holding with several different stocks, each item is counted individually.
Suppose you have:
10 custom holdings.
1 stock holding, which includes 6 different stocks.
1 crypto holding, which includes 5 different cryptocurrencies.
In this case, your total number of holdings would be calculated as follows:
Custom holdings: 10
Stock holding: 6 (since there are 6 different stocks)
Crypto holding: 5 (since there are 5 different cryptocurrencies)
Thus, the total number of holdings counted is 21.
